Project Details
The foundation of Kombrew’s identity came from its three core brand values: honest, grounded, and refreshing. Each value shaped the creative direction, from the tone of voice to the colour palette and illustration style.
Tone of Voice
Kombrew’s tone was designed to be approachable and conversational, with copy that speaks to the customer, not at them. Instead of leaning into scientific jargon or wellness clichés, the language focuses on simplicity, positivity, and authenticity, encouraging customers to enjoy kombucha as part of everyday life.
Visual Identity
The logo suite was built to feel handcrafted yet contemporary. The primary logo features clean, rounded typography paired with a gentle curve that mirrors the organic flow of the drink, whilst the supporting brand illustrations of natural ingredients and subtle textures bring warmth and tactility to the system.
Colour Palette & Typography
The colour palette pairs earthy neutrals with vibrant, fruity tones - a visual nod to Kombrew’s ingredients and flavour profiles. Typography follows the same principle: a strong, modern sans-serif for clarity, paired with a softer, characterful secondary typeface that adds warmth and personality.
Packaging Design
Kombrew’s packaging needed to stand out on crowded shelves while still feeling simple and genuine. Each flavour is colour-coded for easy recognition, with clean layouts and clear ingredient lists that reinforce transparency. Playful copy lines on the label bring personality to the brand without feeling forced.
The Outcome
The final rebrand transformed Kombrew into a confident, relatable kombucha brand with a strong sense of identity. The system scales seamlessly across packaging, digital assets, and social campaigns, creating a unified experience that feels both distinctive and authentic.
By focusing on accessibility and craft, Kombrew’s new identity positions it as a kombucha brand for everyone - not just health enthusiasts.
