Brand Identity

Project Details
The challenge lay in developing an identity that would be instantly recognisable while still flexible enough to evolve with the agency. Drawing inspiration from the technical side of content creation, I focused on the letter ‘K’ within the name TAKE as the central design element. By extending the spine of the letterform, I created a minimalist side profile of a camera — a subtle but clever nod to the agency’s core expertise.
When rotated at different angles, this custom mark naturally forms silhouettes reminiscent of other pieces of film equipment such as a tripod, gimbal, or light panel. This organic versatility became the defining feature of the brand, allowing the identity to adapt across different mediums and applications without losing consistency.
Supporting this concept, the wider brand system was designed with a refined and cinematic aesthetic. A dark, tonal colour palette paired with bold typography and spacious layouts communicates confidence and professionalism, while still leaving room for creativity. The result is a brand that feels modern, trustworthy, and unmistakably connected to the visual storytelling industry.
The Outcome
The final identity gave TAKE Visuals a distinctive, scalable brand system that aligned perfectly with their ambitions for growth. It captures the technical precision of filmmaking while maintaining a creative edge, helping the agency stand out among competitors and attract higher-profile clients.
